Squash Universe chats with Hisham Ashour, a member of the PSA World Tour from 2000 to 2013. Hisham reached a career-high world ranking of No. 11 in February 2012. He played in the highest-scoring game (35-33) in professional squash history and invented the Mizuki trick shot, a backhand volley where the face of the racquet is twisted 180 degrees before striking the ball. Hisham now runs the Hisham Ashour Squash Academy for elite juniors from his home base of New York City. In the third of a three-part interview, Hisham talks about his approach to coaching juniors, talent versus work ethic and his focus on training and fitness.
